PortCon2008 cosplays

Since I can share a hotel room (most of the money I have saved was for hotel), I'm going to add another outfit to my list;

-Killua -- Greed Island,
-Roxas -- pajamas,
-Kio -- any outfit I can think of, plus my painting apron,
-Roxas -- Organization XIII

I wanted to do Lestat with Armie, but she has already got a VERY full plate, and I'm getting the Kio & Ritsuka one so I'm quite happy :D

Aside from agreeing with Kun, I would love to cosplay Armand with you, too, but I'm not sure when. Hell, if we can't fit it in during PortCon, we could always do it on a random day in New Hampshire/Boston/Portland. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a replacement black velvet dress to alter . . .

Also, a bad influence on Gon? Aside from getting him sugar high and loving on him, I don't see where this bad influence is coming from. Unless we start trying to kill people or pull pranks on the staff or something. XD

I just wonder what I would do for Lestat. I know I need a ruffly shirt anyway. If you can we will have to try. I still think it would be awesome.

I had the 'adult things' scene in my head when I typed that and was thinking about the Choco-Ball-Kun incedent too. Staff like The Elevator Girl? Now I'm thinking of your Theif objectives from before you went to Europe "Don't kill anyone" or something like that ;P

I'd go for either rock star!Lestat or 18th century blue coat!Lestat (http://www.sweb.cz/jackie.o.neill/Lestat+Luis.jpg). The latter would match better with Armand, but the former would be easier (and possibly funner and less sweltering in the summer). Or you could go with the musical outfit (http://www.hugh-panaro.net/dd_lestat13db.jpg"). (It's not the best image, but I couldn't find a nice full-body shot.) Or something more generically fancy like this (http://tutut.deviantart.com/art/Lestat-40844869).

(For some reason, ruffly shirts always remind me of Jareth, but Lestat likes them, too. :p)

I shall keep my eyes peeled for something I can alter for Armand!

Ahh. Well, I don't think we'll try to traumatize Kun by watching porn late at night. You'd probably end up traumatizing me instead. And as fun as staff pranks might be, I'm friends with most of the staff and don't think they'd appreciate it.

Chocolate, however, there is no problem with. *grin*

And yes, there is no killing because we are playing on expert mode and we are thieves, not assassins, and . . . Wait. We are assassins. Or at least ex-assassins. So technically we don't have to stick to Thief rules, but we'll try not to kill anyway, na? (Gon probably wouldn't appreciate it and it would get the carpet dirty.) :p

[The rationale for the 'no killing' objective in Thief is precisely that Garrett is a thief, not an assassin or murderer.]
