I've seen this on several different LJs now. It looks cool (the daemon, that is) and I know that people are really excited about the movie, but . . . Am I the only one who didn't like the books?

I just want to see what I end-up with. (I am hoping for a cat of some sort, or a ermine since I like ferrets)

But yes I want to see what they have done.

I read the first book because I recieved it as a gift, I can't remember how old I was but the whole concept of daemon really stuck with me, kinda one of those things like the whole 'Seventh Tower' books did later on.

I seriously can't remember if I liked it, I may have just liked the idea of it, because I read it even before I read 'The Hobbit' which has been long before junior high. I still have a fondness for the series though, and I may just download some audiobooks of it (since I make a habit of only really reading one book at a time, i.e. at this time it's 'Casino Royal')
