Yes very little for me to ask for. I am also not really asking for this from anyone on LJ ('cept the HxH files). This is mostly for myself ^_^ and is in no perticular order ('cept the underlined things are most wanted).

I will also be 19 then o_o and able to buy booze/drink legally (in Canada).

I was planning on mailing them our after PortConMaine so I can also pick up something at the convention for you, but if you'd like them earlier, I can do that.

I'm not sure how much you know about the US legal systems and such, but driving and consent ages are regulated by individual states. For example, the age of [sexual] consent here in New York is 17, but just three hours away in New Hampshire, it's 16. Similarly, you can get a driver's permit at 16 in New York, but it's 15 in New Hampshire and only 14 in a number of places in the West, such as Kansas. [Farming equipment, including tractors and mowers, are exceptions because they don't require licenses.]

Voting age, on the other hand, is regulated by the federal government and is 18. 18 is also generally considered the age of adulthood. The de facto minimum age for purchasing of alcohol is 21.

Something else worth noting -- the age of [sexual] consent in Japan is 13. Quite interesting, especially considering 20 is the age of adulthood.

Also, there are some countries (including South Africa, Portugal, and Paraguay) where there is a separate age of consent for heterosexual versus homosexual acts. (Usually, the age for homosexual sexual consent is two years later than heterosexual consent.)

Finally, the youngest age of sexual consent - 12 years old - is in Mexico City.
